CashTrack may request permission to access SMS messages on your device to identify financial transaction notifications for automated expense tracking.
- Transaction analysis is primarily performed on your device.
- Full SMS messages are not stored on our servers.
- Personal transaction details remain stored locally on your device.
- In certain cases, limited non-sensitive identifiers (such as merchant or UPI name and user-selected category) may be transmitted to improve tagging accuracy across users.
C. Cloud-Based Feature Data
If you use features that involve shared expenses, groups, bill scanning, or interactive assistance, related data may be securely transmitted and stored to enable those services.
D. Device Information
We may collect limited technical information such as:
- Device type
- Operating system version
- App version
This information is used to maintain app stability and improve performance.
